I am seldom up at this hour, especially on a sunday. Waiting to go for brunch with the family.

Through the years we haven't spend mid-autumn together and for once, this year we went to buy a lantern just cause we were 'deprived' HEHE.

So the week has been tough, getting sabotaged and was being rattled upon to my boss by a malicious bitch at work. Trying to push her weight around and act all superior when she's just a trainee, oh whatever! She's not gonna succeed in putting me down and badmouthing me (cos if the first place, i hardly even commute with her)

So last Thursday, Xk & I finally hit the 4-and-a-half-year mark, we didnt do anything fancy or elaborate but just a simple dinner at Ikea, where I got my chicken leg & meatballs fix. Few days before thursday, he casually mentioned that he has wanted to watch the Grand Prix, did some search and told him the prices which we both thought were insanely priced, thus he decided not to watch it. So it was case-closed (for him), but seeing how much he wanted to watch the F1 race, i searched for days frantically hoping to get grandstand tickets for us. I spend an enormous amount of effort & texted so many random people I'd ever text in my life just to pull off a pleasant surprise for him (just because you might be leaving next year for further studies, since it was 4.5 & because i love you)






Anyway it was money well-spent (although i still think i cld have spent the money wisely on something else), but anything just to see that smile of his face. Priceless. The race was exciting, there were 2 accidents and a penalty or 2 throughout the night across the different racing teams. There was one point in time where F Alonso of Renault was in No. 1 spot, although Lewis Hamilton won in the end, Alonso performance was good despite all the bad news about him cheating his way to gaining championship at last year's grand prix. His skills are nothing short of hamilton's. Come next year, I hope he'll do much better with Ferarri now that he has just signed a 3-year contract with them.

Truffles shoe-string fries with a iced chocolate in hand with the Jess was lovely, the long and undisturbed drive home with the wind blowing against my hair, music on replay, a drive so serene. I enjoy the moments when i drive alone, whizzing down the expressway, wind blowing against my face, it allows me to have some me-me time, let me reflect and think about things, allowing me to appreciate the goodness of my pals & in life.





It's only a few months more to 2010 and i'm already starting to dread it because come next year, my best friend/boyfriend will be heading to the states for his studies and i'll be all alone here. I have to admit that it upsets me and honestly, I havent been all optimistic about it. I have absolutely nothing except for all negative thoughts about how long-distance relationship wouldnt work out and foresee many other problems will arise. Perhaps I should try and stop thinking/speak negatively and treasure the time i have with him now before he leaves me for the next 4 years. I could, I should, I would!
